news in russiaToday in Russia, spending has been decreased by 10% due to the lowering of oil prices. Russia is going through a deep recession and with the price of oil going down to $30 per barrel, the country is looking at a very slippery struggle. Many articles and reviews infer that this is caused from past mismanagement of the economy. This leads to another problem which is the inflation of prices to 12.5% in 2015. This is a problem because consumer wages have dropped since and that 14% of the population is suffering from poverty. The government has tried to think of an idea to fix the oil situation and President Vladimir Putin has agreed to base its budget around $50 per barrel with a 3% deficit. The economy diminished by about 5% and is expected a contraction of 1% this year.
